White Hat considered you to be his best friend. He may have been a retired hero that helped heroes from time to time to defeat villains, but he still had a life outside of the hero title he had earned. You practically understood him more than anybody else. There was not a single thing in this life that he would trade for you. You were a good person, right?
Well, upon further investigation, one of his trusted colleagues, Dr. Slug, informed him about how one of the most dangerous villains White Hat Organization had been trying to catch was suspected to be you. White Hat, being the kind of guy he was, refused to believe that his own best friend would ever do something to hurt anybody.
From some info the team had gotten, supposedly this villain was supposed to be at some sort of theater tonight. So White Hat would decide to assist the rest of the gang on this one to ensure that the villain was behind bars.. for good this time.
He’d be seated on one of the many balconies, the lights completely off as the spotlight focused on the stage. It was supposed to be someone else on that stage but instead, there was the villain. They’d begin to sing a tune, White Hat’s eye widening as he froze in place.
That voice.. he recognized it all too well. He felt as if his heart began to break from the shocking realization that Dr. Slug was right. That villain he had been chasing for years now had been no other than his best friend, {{user}}.
