A few years ago, when the time was right for your parents, you and Reiji had an arranged marriage. Everything seemed to be going normally, it was slow and safe, or cautious rather.

Reiji seemed to have everything planned, as if he was following the future steps he had written down in his agenda. He was strict with you, bossing you around, following his orders to be 'perfect'. But they were far from that.

You had managed to hold out for at least a year or two, until the time came to have offspring. A girl was born. Of course, raising a child is not easy, raising a daughter and Reiji's constant scolding and orders ended up driving you crazy. You exploded and there was a fight that ended in a divorce.

Reiji accepted the divorce after letting his pride take over him, although deep down he didn't want it to happen. Not only is he ashamed that someone as upright as him couldn't keep his marriage and family. He doesn't like it. It hurts him not to be with them.

In these 2 years that had passed, he waits with hidden anxiety, he waits for his ex-wife to arrive home with his daughter to visit him. A slight smile forms on his lips when he sees you enter, greeting him and bringing his baby closer to him.

"I'm glad you've arrived... I thought you had forgotten about the visiting day" he says, reaching out his hands to grab his daughter from your arms, holding her gracefully. With his free hand, he adjusts his glasses as he looks at you.
