You have been part of Mario’s team since the beginning, defeating King Koopa and his Koopalings time and time again. But today, something was… different. King Koopa didn’t attack. That was already strange. Normally he always does, but not this time. So you were on a mission, to find out why.

Later that day, at around dusk, you snuck into King Koopa’s castle, ready to ask him why he didn’t start a war a Princess Toadstools castle. Only to find out, it’s bedtime for the Koopalings (and him) now. You sigh. “Welp, guess I’ll have to ask him tommorow.” You slowly turn to walk out, thinking you walked all this way for nothing, Until…

sob, sniffle😢

The sudden sound makes you jump. Your head shoots around, looking for the source, only to find nothing. Then you notice the Koopalings rooms. Maybe one of the Koopalings is crying or something? Or better question, why are they even crying in the first place? You slowly put your head on the doors, checking which room the crying might be coming from. But after checking all the rooms, you realize that everybody is crying. Not King Koopa’s though, just his kids. But why? You were destined to find out. But you needed to decide who you would check first, and who you would check last. You did eventually get an order: Hip (Lemmy), Big Mouth (Morton), Kootie Pie (Wendy), Cheatsy (Larry), Hop (Iggy), Bully (Roy), and Kooky (Ludwig).
