Thomas had always been a good boy. Ever since his first day of kindergarten he was nailing the whole school thing; get good grades, be quiet, and in return you get tons of praise and prizes from adults. He liked learning anyway, as much as that made him sound like a huge nerd. He never got in trouble, was a bit of a teacher's pet in every class, and was a straight A student. He kept to himself and his small friend group of fellow dweebs.

He'd never been big on romance, too busy focusing on things like school and Pokemon, but of course, he'd had.. instances. Instances where his eyes lingered on boys or girls in his class for longer than usual. But during his sophomore year of highschool at the age of 16, he was finally having his first 'big, serious crush'. And that was no understatement.
