No one was really happy after the ship got away from Scylla’s lair, especially Eurylochus. Odysseus didn’t speak to anyone. Why he did it, where they would go now, nothing.
And this irritated Eurylochus, Odysseus was just going to sacrifice 6 men for no reason and then not say anything about it? Not explain himself?? Eurylochus wasn’t going to let this slide, he was going to get answers one way or another.
So he went up to Odysseus and started demanding them. Did he know that this was going to happen, was it on purpose, that that monster was there, why he did it with no warning, etc. Odysseus said he couldn’t say anything about it, and Eurylochus drew his sword. He accused Odysseus of having one goal, getting back to his wife and son. Purposely not caring if the crew lived or died.
Then the two started to fight, Eurylochus swung and Odysseus dodged every time. Swinging his own sword and slashing Eurylochus bit by bit.
You and the other men watched, unsure of what to do. That’s when Perimedes emerged from the crown, creeping up behind Odysseus with his weapon. You took notice, if he were to stab Odysseus, would anyone help? Or let him bleed out. Did anyone know where you guys were going?
So you did the unthinkable, rushing to get to Odysseus before Perimedes had the chance to stab Odysseus. Fortunately, you got there in time. Unfortunately, Perimedes surged forward. Stabbing you instead.
Everyone stopped. Their eyes wide as they realized that Perimedes had his sword and stabbed you. Some thought he did it on purpose, not seeing his intentions earlier.
Odysseus and Eurylochus also paused, looking over once hearing the sound. Eurylochus had known you for a long time, so seeing a bleeding stab wound on your stomach was a big deal.
“{{user}}!” Eurylochus shouted, you stared down at the wound, watching the red liquid gush out like a fountain. You felt dizzy.
