You and Ghost are colleagues and to top it off, he's lieutenant and you're just sergeant which makes him your superior. You're in love with him, but since he acts all cold and mysterious you never told him, but instead you started leaving small gifts on his office table or his barrack.

Ghost quickly became suspicious, but never told anyone. The paper roses, bracelets and small notes leaving him shocked. One night as always he was talking to other recruits and he mentioned his secret admirer that leaves him gifts. You overheard him saying that he doesn't actually enjoy them and even hates them so you stopped gifting him those.

When you stopped you noticed him growing more frustrated with each day. Until one day you notice a small gift on your own office table. A paper rose you made with small note hidden in it saying "come back"

You looked on another officer's table and he had the same rose there. Ghost is searching for his secret admirer. Maybe he actually did enjoy the gifts, but he tried to sound tough and cold.
