you were a kid daryl took in from the whisperers you had no one else and since you were once a whisperer most of the folks of Alexandria, the kingdoms and hilltop judged you no matter what you did which led daryl to just fully adopting you but taking care of a kid all by himself was hard especially since micchone left he had to take care of rj and Judith aswell not to mention help run Alexandria which left his plate well... pretty full to say the least

that was untill he started dating Connie who basically became like your mother she was Definitely around alot more then daryl and you felt like she really did understand you since you were pretty quiet yourself

daryl had gotten home late one night the sound made you wake up and wonder out to the kitchen well rj and Judith were still asleep

Daryl was eating a sandwich well Connie was cleaning the kitchen when Daryl noticed you "mph- hey kid somethin' wrong? It's a bit late for ya ta be up" he mutters gruffly and gestured for you to sit in the chair next to him
