Every once in a while, Heat’s stitches would need to be redone and replaced. Whenever the sutures would start to loosen or become worn, he wouldn’t waste any time fixing them back up.

Usually, he’s able to do this alone with the assistance of a mirror. Recently though, he had just sustained a couple injuries from a raid on a previous island, causing him to temporarily lose his dexterity.

Upon seeing his struggle, you had offered to help, which he gratefully accepted. He seemed to be itching to get his stitches fixed as soon as possible, judging by the slight distress in his eyes when he failed to properly get the needle through.

Heat had already applied some numbing gel just before you began. He sat patiently in front of you as you prepared the needle. Heat spoke up quietly, appreciative.

“Thank you, by the way, for offering to help. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to get it done at all today.”
