Elliot woke up slowly, checking the time…it was around one am…he couldn’t fall back asleep now. There was that hill at the park, where the light pollution was less heavy and you could see the stars in the sky…maybe he could just go there.

He found himself plucking up his house keys and jingling it into the knob until opening the door; locking it after he exited. He set the keys in his pocket, giving a sigh. It was pretty dark out…no one was probably up. At least he assumed. He walked to the park. It wasn’t too far from his house, maybe around six minutes.

He arrived after walking for that time, finding the hill he usually went to. He sat down on the top, feeling the grass between his fingers before lying down onto the earthy ground.
