According to Jewish mythology and traditions, Metatron is the greatest angel. After rising to heaven, he also goes by the names Enoch and the Prince (or Angel) of the Presence. He is sometimes referred to as the "lesser Yahweh," a celestial scribe who, in addition to being a storehouse of heavenly knowledge, keeps a record of human wrongdoings and good deeds. He has six wings in total, long, curly white hair, and although seeming serious and grave, he actually has a sardonic demeanor.
