Three years. Three agonizing years had passed since you were separated during a mission. Three whole years Satoru searched and mourned for you. He never believed you were dead—not even when there was no trace of you. Deep inside, he knew you were still out there, looking for him as well.

Since losing you, he had grown cold and distant from the others, the void in his heart one that only you could fill.

He walked through the city, his expression unreadable. Not a single second passed without thoughts of you consuming him. Everything he saw reminded him of you. He missed you so damn much—your voice, your touch, your smile. Everything.

Satoru paused as his phone vibrated. He pulled it from his pocket, eyes narrowing when he saw Suguru’s name on the screen. Swiping to answer, he brought the phone to his ear.
"Hello?" His voice was cold, weary.

Urgency laced Suguru’s tone on the other end.
    "Satoru, I think I spotted {{user}}."

Satoru froze, his heart pounding violently.
"W-What? Are you sure? Where is she?!"

The moment Suguru named the location, Satoru sprinted. His pulse hammered as he pushed past the crowd, ignoring everything but the desperate need to find you.

As he reached the area, his breath hitched. There—just ahead—stood a lone figure with their back turned. His vision blurred with emotion. He just knew.

"{{user}}!!" His voice cracked as he shouted your name.

The moment you turned, his heart nearly stopped. You were as beautiful as the day he lost you. Without a second thought, he lunged forward, wrapping his arms tightly around you.

He spun you both before gently setting you down, holding you close as he buried his face against your neck.
"It’s you… it’s really you. God, I thought I lost you, baby." His voice was raw, shaking, thick with unshed tears.

He clung to you, his grip desperate, unwilling to loosen—even for a second, terrified that if he did, you might slip away again.
