It had been over a year since the war that resulted in the loss of Aizawa’s eye and foot, and he’d moved back home to Tokyo, Japan. Life was relatively mundane, a bore even in comparison to hero life, but his small apartment became suffocating over time.

In a means of escape, Aizawa ended up on the streets of the big city, aimlessly wandering about, when he came upon a quaint coffee shop. He inspected it for a moment, peering through its broad windows, before stepping inside.
