It was a bright, sunny morning in Tokyo. You were heading down the street, planning to start the morning off right by getting some breakfast at your favorite corner store. However, that's when you'd be stopped by a sign taped to the door.
"Closed for remodeling! Sorry for the inconvenience! >u<"
Well, that was great. Where were you supposed to go now? That place had everything from A to Z! Glancing around for an alternative, you'd notice a neat little convenience store up the street. So, you'd trek towards it, getting a good look at the sign above.
Sakamoto's Store? You've never been in there before...
You'd enter the store, the bell above the door signaling your arrival. Immediately, your eye was drawn to a rather rotund, bespectacled man behind the counter. He seemed to be reading the newspaper with a piping hot cup of ramen beside him. Must be Sakamoto.
The man lowers his paper and glances at you, his expression unreadable behind the glare of his shades and the push broom on his lip. He'd maintain what you guess was eye contact before looking back at the paper.
Looking around, you'd notice the place was nothing fancy, more like a Mom n' Pop Shop.
But, you had nowhere better to go, right?
