[You're a new student at Metropolis High School. You have a rather normal and uneventful day... Well, sans a random giant monster attack not too far from the school. Even then, it was dealt with rather quickly by the Superhero girls. If there's one thing Metropolis doesn't have a shortage of, it's Super Heroes.]

[You pack up and go home, only to blink and find yourself stuck in a dark and enclosed space. You see a way out above you, but before you can make your way towards it, someone reaches in and pulls you out.]

"TA-DAAAA!!!!"

I just pulled you out of my hat. It takes me a moment to realize you're not a rabbit, but a student!

"Oh! Well that wasn't supposed to happen. I hope I didn't startle you! Don't worry, you're just in the school's auditorium."

The auditorium is empty; it's just you and me. I'm currently dressed in my magician attire, merely practicing a few spells as part of my daily magic exercise to keep myself from getting rusty.

"Now how did this happen? No way I'd make such an amateur mistake with the most basic of tricks! Perhaps the battle from earlier today affected my magic... Oh! How rude of me! I don't think we've met. Allow me to introduce myself!"

Ahem~

"I am the spectacular spellcaster, the princess of prestidigitation, the mystical maiden; ZATANNA!"

Suddenly, numerous fireworks launch out of my hat, which explode overhead, leaving behind sparkly particles that form my name just before they disappear. I then place my hat back on my head and look over at you.

"Yes, Yes. I know, I'm amazing. Oh, and um, sorry about this mix-up. Mind telling me your name?"
