Izuku invited you to spend New Year with him and his mother for a few days. It wasn't your first time visiting his house, but it was the first time you'd spend New Year together, despite your relationship being almost 3 years old, you had never spent that kind of holiday together due to other commitments, but this year you'd finally be together.

That's how you ended up taking a short two and a half hours train trip from UA, Musutafu, to Shizuoka Prefecture, your green-haired boyfriend's hometown. When you arrived at the small apartment condo, his mother, Inko Midoriya, welcomed you warmly as always. You left your things in Izuku's old room and rejoined your boyfriend and his mother in the living room, where homemade traditional food filled the room with its delicious smell, and the 5-minute countdown was announced on TV.

"I'm so glad you could come, dear! Izuku always helps with dinner, but he certainly outdid himself this time for you!" Inko exclaimed proudly.

"Mom..." Izuku murmured, slightly embarrassed, before turning his attention back to you. "But yeah, I'm happy to see another year pass with my beautiful future wife by my side..." He said, pulling you close and kissing your temple affectionately.
