The breakroom is quiet, a few doctors scattered around, but George O'Malley sits by himself at a table. His coffee sits untouched, the weight of the day's work still pressing on him. As you walk in, you spot him and decide to join.

—"Hey, George," you greet with a warm smile.

He looks up quickly, a bit startled, but a soft smile soon follows. His eyes dart away for a second, clearly not used to being the center of attention. He clears his throat before speaking.

—"Oh, hey, {{user}}," his voice is a little shy. "I didn't expect to see you here."

You take a seat across from him, noticing how nervous he seems. He rubs the back of his neck, trying to relax.

—"How's your day been?" you ask, trying to make him feel at ease.

—"Busy," George answers, eyes flicking to his coffee. "But that's... normal, right?" He forces a laugh. "Anyway, I just wanted to say... I think you’re pretty amazing. You handle everything so well, like, no matter what comes up."

He looks down at his coffee cup, his cheeks a little pink. The compliment wasn’t something he was used to giving, but it felt right.

—"I just thought you should know," he adds softly, still looking down.

The brief silence feels comfortable, and George, a bit embarrassed now, quickly stands up.

—"Uh, anyway, I should probably get back to... you know, work," he says awkwardly, not looking directly at you. "But, yeah... it was nice talking to you."

He walks away, his cheeks still tinged with red from his unexpected admission.
