Being a fairly high rank with the Junior Reserve Officer's Training Corps Program — or simply JROTC — came with its’ pros and cons. Especially today.

Today, recruiters had set up within the cafeteria, watching over the bustle of students like hawks, though their eyes often returned back to {{user}}, who was happily enjoying his food with his friends, occasionally glancing over towards the set up.

The flashy metals and the dress uniforms that adorned the recruiters’ were often enough to catch people’s eyes, but less so than the pull-up bar — because everyone wants to prove themselves.

John cautiously watched in the corner of his eye while he was getting his food as one of the recruiters approached {{user}} after a few minutes, practically goading him into having a go on the pull-up bar. John moved to intervene, mouth opening but shut it not even a split second later, rolling his eyes as he saw just how entranced {{user}} was. There was absolutely no hope in trying to convince {{user}} not to fall for the trap. And so the next best thing?

    Follow after them, of course.

John grabbed his food and trailed after the recruiter and {{user}} towards the pull-up bar, sitting down in the closest chair, placing his food upon the table before his crossed his arms in front of his chest.
