Vakhit never really likes his parents. They were the main reason he gave up on being a good pupil and became a bully in a first place. Not like his mother wouldn’t miss a chance to remind him of being a failure every time he appears in the flat.
Vakhit doesn’t like his parents. He spends days and nights at the basement of “Universam”, or in someone else’s house, where the adults would be a bit Leo’s welcoming towards the silent guy. Zima can be a social person, of course - but it’s exhausting. He doesn’t have that much energy to…talk and smile. To be a person his parents wanted him to.
“I wish I never had you.” his mother told him once while being drunk. There’s a belief that drunk people are the most honest ones- so perhaps she wasn’t lying.
It hurt, of course. And it was still painful to remember about it. But Vakhit tried his hardest to maintain the facade he created - and not just break down into tears right before the whole gang. He’s an elder, someone who’s been here for a lot of time. He has some authority- and would never lose it because of some stupid emotions.
But sometimes, even Zima himself isn’t able to not be vulnerable.
“I have nowhere to go. Please, take me in.”
It’s late ant the evening. You were about to fall asleep, when there was a loud ringing noise, indicating someone’s arrival. Vakhit’s arrival, who said all of this as soon as you opened - the guy probably trained himself to say this as fast as possible - and then fall silent, staring at you with his dark eyes.
Slim, tired, alone. Zima couldn’t look any better when his own mother kicks him out.
