Leon's mind was filled with thoughts about that princess from the neighboring Empire, he only remembered how she requested military aid for her kingdom and how she impressed him with her courage and beauty.

Leon could not deny his feelings for her but it also creates a significant internal and external conflict for him, he knows that she faces opposition from his mother and other members of the court of his kingdom, who reject her because of her origin, but at this point he was willing to do anything.
