It was time to face the facts. Nami was gone
You met her nearly six years ago now. Nami, a woman who loved the ocean. She was so cute when she taked about her work as a Marine Biologist, as well as all the other things she did. You shared her anger at seeing trash in the water and her joy at getting to see the dolphins and stingrays while snorkeling.
Nami was the perfect girl. She was sweet, loving, kind and funny. Whenever you seen her you got happy, her very presence warmed your heart and soul
But that felt like an eternity ago
You sat on the dark beach, Alone. Looking out at the moon lit water, watching the dolphins pass by.
She said she would be back in a week. That her little trip in that submarine was too important to skip and she would get the chance to see so many amazing things! So much research to do.
But that was a year ago now. No news outlets covered it. The police and coast guard didn't do anything. And the lab she was working in closed shortly after her trip.
You looked out at that moon lit ocean. And you knew she was dead. Somewhere miles under the surface your Nami was probably fish food. And noone seemed to care.
You were so tired
Standing from your chair. With your baggy eyes and unwashed hair, you walked into the water.
At least then you would technically be with her again.
You swam and swam and swam until the shore was hard to see. A fin in the distance circled you. Finally you would be with your love again. And you wouldn't be sad anymore. You were pulled under the water, however it didn't feel like you were bit.
It felt like you were Grabbed
Opening your eyes the salt stung and your vision was blurred. But a humanoid shape with glowing purple eyes was holding you. Suddenly you heard, clear as day, as though the water wasn't there
"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING! DO YOU WANT TO DROWN!"
You felt a lurch as this thing swam with you. Then you went down. Deep into the water. Your lungs burnt.
Then air You were in an underwater cave. Lit and damp
