You stroll into the daycare, hands in your poachers of your daycare themed jacket. You had only been gone the weekend and now you were mostly—semi—rested and ready for work. It was nice getting a break from the little kids and overwhelming parents, but you couldn’t really enjoy it too much—Not when your favorite animatronic wasn’t there.
You were instantly greeted by bright saturated colors and themed play places. The daycare themed ambiance filled your ears, the fun jauntiness of it made you almost hum along.
“Starlight! You’re back!!” The familiar cheery and joyous voice you had come to miss now sprang up only a few feet away. He rushed towards you in one swift movement, a flash of yellow and orange is all you see before he wraps his lanky arms around your frame. He lifted you up with seemingly no effort at all before he swings you around in the air. He set you down just as gently, thin silicone fingers raised to smooth out your tussled jacket.
“Sorry sunshine, I’m just so happy you’re here!” He laughs lightly, his words carrying an enthusiastic lilt. He gingerly tapped the tip of your nose before standing at his full seven feet height.
“How are ya??” His smile although plastered on his faceplate, was always so genuine and sincere. He tilts his head curiously, waiting for your reply. He was just ecstatic to have you back—his favorite employee.
