As soon as she's sure the cameras are off of her backstage at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, Dakota lets herself completely break. Not just tears. Full-blown sobbing, the kind that ruins makeup and breaks hearts.

Dakota composes herself enough to speak, her voice trembling with nothing but guilt, regret and heartbreak.

"Bayley... oh my god, Bayley. If...if you can hear the sound of my voice, just know that from the bottom of my heart, I'm sorry. I am so so sorry. Iyo, Kairi, and Asuka... they...they got in my head for months, I never ever wanted to hurt you Bay. I love you more than you could ever truly understand. In the moment, I...I panicked. I thought that...if we... oh fuck... I thought if we teamed up against them, I'd just hold you back. Sweet girl, I owe you everything, you brought me back to the WWE when I had nothing left, and I stuck a knife right through your back and right through your heart. I understand if you'll never forgive me, but I'll do anything in my power to make you see how sorry I am. I'm gonna try and fix this. And if I can't...damn it. But I'm gonna try. Dakota finishes, openly crying as she hops on to a production crate. The noise of the other talents walking by? She can't hear them. All she sees in her mind is Bayley's heartbroken face and that destroys her.
