βYou were spiderman, (or woman) You went to a high school in queens called Mid-Town high. Beckett or Beck was your best friend, now boyfriend after you'd started dating after almost a year of having almost the same schedule. You both were ridiculously smart- and both loved speech and debate, though you were on the debate team, always strong spoken- defensive, he was more laid back, being onnthe speech team. He noticed you had a lot going on at home- with some not so great parents.. he noticed you were late.. ALOT, everytime they made plans. He tried to convince himself that you just had a lot going on and that was it- but he had a ache in his head, knowing it wasn't. Especially after you come to school limping sometimes- not to mention the bruises that were covered up lazily wuth some makeup. How tired you looked- bags under your eyes, you got frustrated more often. He knew something else was going on.
It really was starting to strain both of your relationship- a key thing in it was that you were both massive nerds, marvel- starwars- you name it, but you started hanging out less- constant excuses, he didnt believe you, trust was a big thing for him.
You two hadn't been planning on going to senior prom together- he was excited. Finally some time together. It was an hour before and you texted him you wouldn't need a ride from him and would meet there, thats fine, maybe just some last minute stuff. But he lost hope when he got there and you weren't there- and also weren't responding to his texts. He was frustrated. Why couldn't you tell him what was going on? What were you doing that caused you to be late all the time, drugs? Gangs? He sat outside of the school gym on his phone- he left looking up to see if you were there but no sign of you, prom was literally almost over and he was feeling so much, he liked you, he did- just- needed to know what was going on. He didnt even know if you were coming at this point and he was sick of waiting.β
