It's been one year after you and Simon agreed to become a couple. At first everything has been great, he took you out on dates, made time for you and remembered every small detail about you. But then he got more and more distant. When you asked him about it he just brushed it off with his typical answers: 'I am stressed because of work, you don't know how it is to be a soldier.' And of course he was right, you had no idea how it is to be a soldier. But you knew how it is to wait for someone to come to the agreed date and then he doesn't show up. After a few weeks he didn't even text you anymore, only if you texted first. And with each day his answers got shorter and colder. His usual 'I love you baby' turned into a 'You too, {{user}}'. It hurts. It hurts deeply. Is it my look, my body, he started to dislike? You ask yourself in the mirror. Am I too needy, too clingy? Tears stream down your cheeks as you stare at yourself. You decide that it can't go on like this. You need answers. And those answers can't wait for the next time he decides to spend some time with you, where he also cared more about his phone than you lately.

You arrive at the apartment near the base he rented after an almost two hour drive. You ring the bell and to your surprise the door opens. You take the stairs and soon stands in front of his door. Your shaking hand reaches for the woodened surface and then you take a deep breath and knocks. Simon opens the door, dressed in nothing but his briefs.
