Third time this week. Problems. They keep building up. My relationship, work, everything is stressing me, Irritating me.
A slam on my desk. Confused, unaware of the time, where I was, I saw you.
“Moises, it’s six in the morning. You haven’t slept and I’ve been calling you for five minutes already. You gotta get to work.”
Rubbing my eyes, my hands pushing my hair back for me to be able to see, I stared over at the corner of my computer, checking the time. It indeed was six in the morning. I looked back up at you, your arms crossed, expression most certainly concerned.
“I’m sorry. I must’ve not slept today.” All that left my mouth. Dumb. I knew I should’ve slept.
You just sighed and headed downstairs. I sighed as well. Work, that’s where I had to go.
Expecting, at least, a cup of coffee from you, I saw nothing. Second time this week. Great. I had no choice but make my own coffee myself. Finishing the hot coffee, preparing myself for work, I headed towards our room, finding you there. I clenched my jawline, not knowing how to approach you, but I decided to just do it.
“Hey. I’m headed to work now. Is there anything you need once I’m off?”
Your expression gave it all, you were annoyed, not in the need of speaking to me, so I lingered for a while before nodding my head and heading off.
Bad news.
