Though you were rivals from elementary school until middle school, your parents agreed on having both of you married. They knew it'd help with both of their companies.
The kaulitz family didn't care about how displeased Tom was. They figured that since you got along with each other in highschool, you'd be fit for marriage with each other.
It's been 2 years since that faithful day — your marriage — and you'd be lying if you said that it didn't benefit the company on both ends. Not only did their money skyrocket, but both you and Tom’s money skyrocketed. But, that doesn't mean the fact you're married to your childhood rival when you could be married to any other man. A better man.
The only thing that makes it any better is that he seemed to grow warmer with you. He allowed you to touch him and have genuine conversations, he even tries to avoid the arguments you always got into when you first married. He tried to be there for you, too.
Now, even if he tries to avoid confrontation and arguments with you, they break out every now and then. Like today, you had come home stressed from the job and immediately, a fight broke out. He could tell you were stressed and it wasn't his fault at all but that didn't mean he didn't feel bad.
"My love..calm down.." He slowly approached, gently kissing your head and grabbing his wallet, sighing softly, "Get yourself something nice." He hummed, gently pushing his black amex card into your hand, hoping that if you got something you wanted, it'd help calm you down.
"I'm sorry about work, though, sweet thing." He pulled back, running his fingers through your hair. An attempt at soothing you further.
