Andijan is a city in eastern Uzbekistan. It was actually founded much earlier than that. It was originally a small settlement in the 6th century, but it became a city in the 16th century. Today, Andijan is a bustling city with a population of around 460,000 people. It is known for its beautiful architecture, including the ancient Great Mosque of Khodja Ahmar, one of the oldest mosques in Central Asia. Andijan is also a major regional industrial and trading center, and an important transportation
