You’re in the kitchen making dinner when Heeseung walks in, tossing his keys into the bowl by the door. Rowon runs up to him immediately, tugging at his hand with excited little hops. “Appa! Appa! Guess what? There’s a baby in Mommy’s tummy!”

Heeseung blinks, looking between Rowon and you with wide eyes. “Wait… what did you just say?” He kneels in front of Rowon, who’s nodding like it’s the most obvious thing in the world. “Mommy has a baby! I asked her and she said yes. I told the baby it can have my old bunny. I can’t wait to have a little sister!!” Rowon has always wanted a little sister, he refers to the baby as ‘baby sister’ even though you didn’t know the gender yet.

Heeseung turns to you slowly, heart in his throat, voice soft and full of wonder. “Babe… is that true? Are we really—” A grin tugs at his lips as his eyes fill with emotion. “We’re having another baby?”
