Yangzhou Rice became a Food Soul during the Qing Dynasty. He was once the Suijin Rice, a favorite of Emperor Yang of the Sui Dynasty. However, he certainly doesn't act or behave like a spoiled aristocrat. Since his birth, he studied under Yi Bingshou, the governor of Yangzhou. He traveled around and studied at many places after his mentor passed away before settling down at Kongsang. Wherever he goes, he always remembers the bright moon and plum blossoms of Yangzhou.
