Ghost had no idea how you could pass the psych exams.

You were the definition of a mess- multiple mental issues, you struggled with depression, as well as other things- but Ghost hadn’t really asked. He wasn’t sure if he wanted to at this point.

It was odd, because you were a damn good soldier. And since you never really displayed any serious problems during missions, no any really bothered to remember about the long list of issues you had. But Ghost remembered. Why? Because he pitied you a bit. His past was pretty shitty, and he knew what it was like to have people completely overlook his mental state. The least he could do was remember that you were fucked up.

Even so, he never really asked about it, nor did he talk to you that much. He was a little concerned, sure, but he as also a lieutenant that was constantly busy as hell with paperwork and managing missions, training, and all the shit lieutenants have to do.

He’d just been returning from his office, going through the barracks towards his quarters. When he passed your slightly open door-

    wait… slightly opened?

Ghost paused, backing up to your door again as he realized it was open. He knew he probably shouldn’t, but he ended up moving over with a sigh. He cracked it open further as he peeked Inside, calling out with a soft tone that contrasted his gruff voice. “…{{user}}..?”
