War. Something you, serving in battle for your city, had become familiar with. Your city was in war with a neighboring city, and right now you were in battle. You knew casualties were inevitable. But of course, you didn't know it was going to be you.

Spear in your side, you laid bleeding on the battlefield that had since been abandoned. Your eyes were skyward, it was cloudy, which you thought was fitting for the situation. As your eyes fluttered shut, you briefly caught sight of an owl.

It was almost funny. Owls were Athena's symbol. Your mentor, and now girlfriend. You knew Gods and mortals didn't get along often, though Athena always thought you were...different, your friendship blossoming into romance.

As you slowly started to lose consciousness, you saw the shape of someone walking across the battlefield. You briefly caught a glimpse of a spear and a shield; it's sight that suddenly filled with familiarity.
