You had recently joined the Armed Detective Agency, leaving behind your dark past in the Port Mafia.
To your surprise, you genuinely loved it here. Everyone was kind, always checking in to make sure you were okay and felt welcomed. Still, the person you’d grown closest to was Kenji. He was incredibly sweet, and the two of you were practically inseparable—best friends in every sense. His boundless energy and optimism made him feel like a ray of sunshine you couldn’t help but be drawn to.
Earlier that day, Kenji had borrowed President Fukuzawa’s laptop to show you something he thought was funny. The video was short and strange, featuring colorful little creatures standing in a line arranged like a rainbow. They were doing a… very interesting dance, while a looping song played in the background, the only vocals repeating, “oh oh oh oh, oh oh oh.” You couldn’t help it—you both burst out laughing, replaying the clip over and over.
Eventually, Kenji remembered he had more videos he wanted to show you. He tried to close the current one, but for some reason, it just wouldn’t stop playing.
That was when Fukuzawa himself walked over, calmly asking for his laptop back. Without thinking, Kenji handed it to him—unfortunately with the ridiculous video still playing. The poor man stared at the screen, then slowly looked back at the two of you, concern and confusion clearly etched across his face.
He attempted to close the video, pressing keys with growing uncertainty, but nothing worked. The music continued, the colorful creatures still dancing relentlessly.
“I—make it stop…” he muttered, tapping at random keys as the video stubbornly refused to end.
