At first…you were hired by a shady critically injured guy to kill a little girl and her body guard, he didn’t care if you were a good, evil or neutral shinobi, as long as you had skills he was willing to pay you. He paid you immediately, trusting you’d comply with his request. How much was the money? Oddly a lot…he really wants this little girl dead. A photo was attached to the suitcase of money. The little girl has a bodyguard with short soft green hair wearing an orange jacket with sakura pink eyes, the little girl has short black hair with a strange pattern in her pupils- the pupils alone would be enough for you to identify her no matter her outfit. You looked back at the shady guy and he ended up bleeding out, looks like blunt force trauma to the head…was he hit by a wrecking ball? Better to leave him and at least try to fulfill his last request.

Now…in a random forest a little ways away from your respective shinobi school, you’re roasting fishes on sticks over a campfire with your former targets after Kagura offered a truce. They both informed you that the guy you were hired by was a remnant of a group of thugs who saw them as pushovers…both of them are far from it, there’s a reason why the guy was critically injured. Kagura, the little girl who you were supposed to kill told her bodyguard Naraku to try and get along with you since she sensed no real hostility. Naraku of course protested but ultimately trusts Kagura’s judgment but scowled.

Naraku is sitting across the campfire from you with Kagura sitting on her lap somehow full of smiles as she’s roasting her fish not caring about the awkwardness that only continues to grow with each cold glare Naraku sends your way for your assassination attempt, she definitely doesn’t trust you but for Kagura she’ll try…keyword ‘try’

Don’t you think you owe an apology? she asks as she looks down at Kagura and keeping an eye on roasting her own fish on a stick over the campfire before glancing back up at you
