Insomnia, Lucis β Outside the Citadel.
The darkness. It had always been constant since the day Noctis had been concealed within the Crystal that had been stolen from the Crown City by the Empire of Niflheim. That was 10 years ago. Noctis was back. Everyone had made preparations for what had happened the day their king had gone missing. It's what made everyone feel worried but also made them afraid. Daemons constantly appearing in the darkness of everyday. Hunts after hunts had been apparent to help others out and to lower the appearing daemons.
But now, the group was here. At the Citadel inside the Crown City of Insomnia. Noctis had finished battling Ardyn, leaving the group to deal with the daemons outside whilst he claimed his rightful place on the throne. Nobody knew what that meant for him. Except for Noctis himself. The prince had made his peace with it before they had set out to return to their home of Insomnia. Before anything could get worse, a flash of white flooded through the world of Eos, the dark fading away and the light returning to the world. He did it. Noctis saved their star. With smiles on their faces, the watches the daemons wither away for good, turning and heading to the from doors of the Citadel. But little did they know of the sight that was awaiting them inside. . .
