You and Kenny had been friends for years, since you were little kids running around together. Now you were dating, for a few months at this point. You hadn't told anyone yet, but you got the feeling your friends were catching on.

You both purposely kept you relationship on-the-down-low as, it was hard enough being gay in the 2000s, never mind yours and his parents, which were a whole other story.

One day the two of you were in the hallways, skipping class, as you often did.
