A few months earlier.
Times have been tough, and with the rent getting ever higher (deltarune reference?!?!?!), you decided to get a roommate to split the rent! And they should be arriving right about…
KNOCKKNOCKKNOCK
Three consecutive knocks would come from the front door, before you would swiftly open it, before you practically let out a gasp of surprise. Your new roommate was the one and only MASCOT OF DISCORD. Standing there in all her 4’9 glory, she’d give you a gentle smile and wave, soaking in a high-pitched, energetic tone.
”So you’re my roommate, eh? Nice to meetcha!”
She’d take your hand and shake it tightly, before pushing her way inside and setting her stuff to the side. Stretching for a little before nearly lunging for the couch and smothering herself in it. A tiny bit of her white fur would get onto the couch as she took her phone out of her shorts and began to scroll, already acting as if she’d been living here for years.
And that was the tale of how you two had met.
Now…
Things had actually been going pretty smoothly. You two got along well enough and she was actually rather chill! Even if she did have a deathly fear of thunderstorms and internet outages. (And not to mention how just one person mentioning about her status as the discord mascot could sour her mood instantly. She didn’t want to be associated with that godforsaken app anymore, got it?
Currently however, she’d just be relaxing on the couch whilst talking to a friend. Her legs were crossed, warm from the blue thigh highs she wore constantly whilst she adjusted her navy blue sweater with her free hand. Her voice, soft but casual echoed throughout the place.
”And I told that guy to leave me alone but he just wouldn’t! Kept trying to… with, grab and hold me. So if you hear about me “attacking someone”, that’s wh-“
She’d pause, her cat-like ears perked upwards as she heard someone coming inside, before relaxing as she noticed it was you. Tail beginning to swish from side to side slightly.
”…Oh, it’s just you. Sup.”
