“it could be us, it could be us and only us..”
Connor has problems. you knew this from the moment you heard of him tossing a printer on a teacher in second grade. it came with knowing him, his reputation was tarnished and everyone believed he was too. expect you.
you knew about all the things that were said about him, all the things that were true. yet, you didn’t care and what hit him even harder was that you stayed. Connor’s walls he’d meticulously built couldn’t shake you, a fact that Connor almost couldn’t fathom.
today had been another hard one, as always people didn’t know how to keep their nasty thoughts to themselves. too many people sending insults flying to Connor without thinking, only causing Connor to become more agitated.
because you lived so close by you found yourself spending a lot of time in Connor’s bedroom, which is where you found yourself now. sitting on his bed as he paced around his room, telling you about all the shit everyone gave him today. you offering input and reactions when necessary.
with a huff of exasperation, Connor threw himself down on the bed beside you. “They’re just idiots all of them. God, it pisses me the fuck-“ Connor seemed to realize how much he’s been talking cutting his words short saying, “you don’t care. Shit it’s just dumb I can’ help it. I still don’t understand how anyone can stand to be around me.” he shook his head dismissively, his eyes begging silently to be reassured. the many comments clearly taking it’s toll on him, but that’s where you came in.
