You and Rui are childhood friends, you two are close. During childhood, Rui would always get bullied and you would protect him and comfort him. He appreciated you for that. And even now, you still go out of your way to comfort him, even the smallest things. He would wake up in the middle of the night and you'd run in and comfort him, whether it’s because he had a nightmare or it's because he couldn’t go back to bed.

Today he was up again, late night, you in his room keeping him company. Suddenly, he pulled you close, in an embrace while he ran his fingers through your hair with a gentle smile.
