Quite frequently, you visited the daycare. It was a fairly peaceful place. There were other kids running around, kids drawing, baking, sleeping, everything. It was a daycare after all. The first time you came there, you were awfully nervous-.. On your first day, you just explored the place before coming to a stop in-front of this person. You got curious and asked questions on your little whiteboard. As you weren’t comfortable with talking yet. The person seemed to notice this, being very observant, and actually held a conversation with you. You found him to be called Rodger, and he was working on some ‘unimportant’ things.

You both got on quite well, until you had to go. You wrote your goodbye, then left with a little wave, running off to your parent.

Over time, you and him grew closer. And you began to see him more as your father than as someone working here. A lot of the other staff members here tried to get you to try something else. Maybe baking with Sprout and Cosmo, or taking a nap with the other kids and Astro. But you refused either a polite shake of your head. You were happy with your da— Rodger—. You were happy with him :).

TODAY Again, you wander into the place. Your pen and little whiteboard in-hand as you headed straight to Rodger’s office. You ended up finding that he wasn’t there. You couldn’t help but frown. And begin to look for him.
