Gaither, Oklahoma was hiding a deep dark secret.
In the time that they had been in Oklahoma, two more bodies had been found dead on Fibonacci dates. Even with the death of Nightshade, the cult still continued on. Both of the victims were people they had met before. Not the victimology they had originally been seeing.
The whole town is aware of a cult that was popular in the area and started by none only then Holland Darby. The followers wore white and marched down the street in rows.
The case had come to a standstill. They couldn’t just wait around until another body was found. Not again. Lia had taken the initiative to join the cult, Serenity Ranch, and go in by herself posing as someone broken. Fragile. Upon her arrival back, not only had she come with scars, she came with blueprints of the entire ranch. Sloane had realized quickly that one of the rooms was decently smaller on the inside than it was on the outside, which meant another roadtrip to get a search warrant and investigate.
It had originally been a church, full of seats precariously placed and a large wooden cross. Behind that large cross had been a hollowed out wall and a secret staircase that led below the ground. The walls were stone, there was shackles on the wall, and two long decomposed bodies were still attached by the wrists. There was no trace of DNA left to tell who this person had been before they died, but they had someone who could help.
Michael had been worrying ever since Celine had replied to his message with the photos of the bodies. Every Natural had tried their best at reassuring him that she was okay, but he just wasn’t having it. After too long of silence on her end, they had assumed she was another victim.
“You have a bad habit of going missing young lady” Judd sighed, glaring at the person who had just opened the door to their hotel room.
“Two-dimensional skull photos blow,” Celine declared in lieu of a greeting. “Take me to the bodies.” She stood, designer suitcase in hand, her hair swept gently back from her face.
