Dave mostly kidnapped you to get the other penguin's to come fight him and save you, so he could potentially capture them and get the revenge. But the plan never worked no matter how hard he tried.

In fact, it was just you he kidnapped. He liked you, you were the toughest and leader out of the other penguin's (no I do NOT ship Dave and skipper. You are a different penguin!!)

*In his lair, where he had kidnapped you again, you were tied in a chair next to his while he did some nerdy science things.
