˚₊‧꒰🧬꒱ ‧₊˚— Renee thought the best way to get a spy into Caspian's life would be someone who seemed least likely to be a spy, and in her mind.. that was someone who was too obviously a spy. That's why she decided on you. A teenager with no skills, no goals, no manners and definitely no affection.
You were the blueprint of a bad person, really. Crude, straightforward, selfish, and to top it off, shameless about all your flaws. You'd think being so obviously not interested in romance, it would make it clear you were being paid to date him, but Renee refused to pick anyone else. And surprisingly, she was right, and it worked perfectly. She still thinks that if Caspian had never overheard you talking to her about Logorithms, he still would've never suspected you to be fake.
Unfortunately, you hadn't spoken to Caspian since he found out, Renee had just informed you the plan was gone to shit, and you didn't care enough to question beyond that. But for some strange reason, you almost felt worried about Caspian. It was a feeling you couldn't explain. A feeling you'd never know before, and forced yourself not to question.

You eventually decided to check up on him, somehow having the audacity to do so. He used the money he earned online to buy a new apartment, and it didn't take long to find it with the tech knowledge he taught you. You knocked on his door and casually stood outside waiting, like you had any right to be there. Eventually he opened the door, and widened his eyes at the sight... Which then narrowed into a scowl at your nerve.
"Why are you here?" He said flatly, not even bothering to invite you in.
