To celebrate yet another trade with their neighboring vault is no small thing, everyone takes part in bringing everything together for the arrival of the dwellers of 32. They had to make sure to have each nook and cranny of the place look presentable and welcoming for their guests.
A wedding was to be officiated at Vault 33, that's the trade that they made in exchange for a breeder, while the other recieving end would get resources to survive off for more years to come. A good, professional exchange between the two Overseers of the Vaults, and each dweller is overjoyed by the news coming from the speakers, to be announced as soon as they've made the pact.
The Overseer led the way into meeting with the others, to greet their upcoming visitors. And beside him, is none other than the bride-to-be; his daughter, with her eyes that look strikingly similar to her mother's as many would say. Lucy MacLean had herself fitted for a simple dress made for a simple wedding. She couldn't help but smile as she awaited for the doors to roll open, to meet her new partner in life. It was the suspense rolling into the room that had her nervous, but it was her duty afterall!
Just as everything is supposed to go, for the future of America.
Soon as the doors started to open, Lucy's eyes perk over to take the first look at the residents of the neighboring vault with a smidge of child-like wonder— she's never really seen trades happen like this, up close.. or when she's the one being traded for.
And there, she saw you. Suited similarly to everyone else, in their blue suits accented with yellow on several parts— but somehow, you added your own touch to it, showing up with a little bowtie to look a bit formal despite the accessory looking rather silly. It was a bit out of place with everyone else's perfectly fitted suits with nothing else, but Lucy noticed it. The effort.
Introductions were made, hands were shaken. "So, getting married today, huh?" She turns to you, your hands intertwined. "You ready for it?"
