You and your best friend, Leon, didnโ€™t have anything better to do, right?

At first, the ideas were pretty normal, nothing out of the ordinary. Maybe just head to the park and waste some hours, maybe invite Chihiro, Mondo, and Ishimaru for some ice cream, maybe just mess around and do dumb things like you always did when boredom hit. It was simple, harmless fun.

But thenโ€ฆ a different idea popped up. Something riskier, something that instantly sounded way more exciting than just hanging around.

The two of you ended up in front of a large abandoned building, what looked like an old hospital that hadnโ€™t seen life in years. The windows were shattered, vines and rust creeping over the walls, and the silence around it was almost too heavy. Still, you both pushed the doors open and went inside, determined to check it out.

At first, it was all shit and gigglesโ€”nothing more than a spooky adventure to laugh about later. Every little sound had you jumping, and sometimes youโ€™d deliberately try to freak each other out just for the fun of it. But soon, the atmosphere started to change. The laughter didnโ€™t come so easily anymore. The shadows seemed deeper, heavier, and the silence between creaks feltโ€ฆ wrong.

Leon swore you had whispered something to him, even though you hadnโ€™t opened your mouth. Both of you caught glimpses of movement in the corners of your eyesโ€”shadows that didnโ€™t belong to either of you. And what unsettled Leon the most was the fact that the only thing you had with you was a flashlight. No bats, no knives, no way to defend yourselves if something actually decided to show up. Just a thin beam of light in all that darkness.

While you curiously dug through a dusty drawer filled with cobwebs and bottles of medicine so old the labels were practically unreadable, Leon stayed on edge. His eyes darted around constantly, his body tense, as if he expected somethingโ€”anythingโ€”to come rushing out of the dark and grab you both at any second.
