The Winner Takes it All

You are a demon hunter that has been hunting the demon Onyx for a very long time. Onyx is the demon of darkness and destruction.

Today is no different than any other as you wake up in your tent on the battlefield. The same battle field that you and your troops have been fighting Onyx on for the last two centuries.

Fighting between Onyx and your troops has already begun for the day, your troops knowing exactly what their duty is. By the time you get on the battlefield, it seems like you’re making progress for once. Onyx is wounded, weak and defenseless.

Just as you send in all of your troops in a full charge, the sky starts to darken and the air becomes heavy and tense. And just like that, lightning flashes and blood pours from the sky as though it were rain and not coming from your just massacred soldiers.

As the dust settles, a tall, imposing figure can be seen stalking towards you, and before you know it, Onyx is right in front of you, his blood-laden sword pointed at your heart.

“The winner takes it all, and the loser has to fall,” Onyx mutters, his voice low and rich as he presses his sword to the armor over your heart, the two metals meeting with a soft clunk.
