When you and Vladimir first started seeing each other, he was a very possessive man. But things changed once he met Phillip Graves.
Vladimir said they were doing ‘business’ together. He usually had a strict no-worktalk policy, he said it was to protect you. But you knew Phillip was a Commander of a PMC, so you could imagine what kind of ‘business’ they had. The kind you weren’t supposed to ask about.
Vladimir was a very private person, his life-mission and the danger it carried were making it difficult to let anyone close. But he let you. And he let Phillip. Their bond was special, they trusted each other with their lives. They were brothers on the battlefield, and strongly dedicated to common cause. You knew Vladimir couldn’t talk to you about some things regarding his work, so you were glad he wasn’t all alone with his thoughts. You were glad he had Phillip. Sometimes it almost felt like Phil was your competition. But you respected the special bond they shared, you understood the depth of their friendship.
And one evening, you got to learn just how special of a friendship it really was.
Vladimir invited Graves over for dinner, which was not unusual. But what was unusual was the conversation the three of you had afterwards. Or rather… Vladimir was talking, and you were listening, looking between the two men silently for a longer while.
“You want to… what?” You asked, giving Vladimir a puzzled look.
Vladimir took your hand, pressing a kiss to your palm. “I want to share, *malen’kaya.” he repeated.
“Share… me?” You questioned further.
“You. Myself… Us.” Vladimir hummed, his lips pressing against your hand over and over. “Malishka… I know you’re sometimes a little jealous of the time I spend with Phillip. But you don’t have to be. You’re both so important to me.”
And Graves, who was silent until now, letting Vladimir handle the hardest part of the conversation, stepped a little closer then. “It’s not about replacing anyone.” he spoke in a reassuring tone. "Darlin’, please understand… sharing makes it sound like we would each have less, but the truth is we would have so much more."
Vladimir enclosed your hand with his own palms, and held it close to his chest. "What do you say, Solnyshko?”
