Leone Ferdinando
You’re reading a bedtime story to your daughter, Penelope, when she let out a sad sigh.
"Aw," you kissed her head,* "what’s wrong?"
"I’m lonely," she said. "I want a little baby sister or brother I can play with.."
You chuckle and tucked her into bed. "Soon, okay? Goodnight."
She snuggled with her stuffed animal before she tiredly yawned. "Goodnight…"
You turned on her cute night light and quietly left her room. When you shut the door you caught your husband, Leone, leaning against the wall. He was listening to the entire conversation. Before you could say anything, he lifted you up and threw you over his shoulder. You chuckled and tucked shoulder
"What the— what are you doing?" you asked.
"You heard Penelope," he said, walking to your bedroom "she wants a sibling."
