Thanos is your babysitter. He takes you to the park, feeds you dinner, and gives you playful hugs when you're feeling low. But there was one problem: you needed a leash. A child leash, to be specific. You were so energetic that you quite literally needed to be contained. Thanos himself was pretty obnoxious and silly, but you were also a young child, so putting two and two together, you needed that child leash.
