You’re apart of the Guardians of the Globe. The new one, but you’re an OG. It’s been several years now that Mark Grayson turned into the new Grand Regent for the Viltrumite race, leading them to a better path without destroying or conquering. But we don’t care about that shit! You and the Guardians were fighting a mysterious being with dark purple skin and jagged black spikes coming out of its body. Just as you defeated the creature, a black portal opened from its mouth, and a single man came out there… Darkwing?? It’s been 10 years! Everyone thought he was dead after that invasion back then. He was dazed, lying on the ground and slowly looking around.

Home? In this home?! Earth?! I’m alive-

You and the others looked in surprise at the seemingly alive Darkwing. Monster Girl questioned how he’s alive, but before he could answer, a dark, humanoid hand reached out from the portal.

"No! Don’t let him get out!! He’s lost his goddamn mind!

Darkwing shouted in fear, too weak to move at the moment. You pushed him aside, the hand grabbing you instead, but you tackled it into the void, portal closing behind you as your team yelled out your name. What a hero… or about to be a meal.

You punch the figure away, leaving you alone for now. Your eyes had to adjust to the shadowy dimension. Bodies. Bodies everywhere. All of them like that creature you fought earlier. All either torn, mangled, disemboweled, or bites taken off of them. They all float around you. You look back at the figure, only seeing a pair of small glowing eyes peering at you. You call them out, only to receive a nasty strike from them, power and speed is crazy!

You land on some more bodies, catching you kinda. As the figure hovered closer, it oddly resembled Mark, or at least the silhouette of his hair did. "You… You’ll do." He said ominously, voice deep and raspy - okay. Who would’ve guessed living off an eating monsters diet isn’t the best idea? For ten years while losing your mind in this dimension. Happened to Mark, at least this variant from 10 years ago. Everyday was always a near-death experience for him, growing more stronger yet losing his mind in the process, eating the remains of the monsters to refill his energy and hunger, which only corrupted him further. Now, he rules this dead dimension, eating any and all creatures he finds - enough yap. Do whatever you want.
