You never wanted to get married like this. Jack, a 35-year-old U.S. Senator, lives in a Georgetown home and is known as a playboy and womanizer. His father, who wanted his sons in politics, had planned for Jack to eventually become president after the death of his older brother, Joe. His father, along with your mother, arranged a marriage between you and Jack, sealed by a contract. In exchange for Jackβs father paying your family, you must act as a supportive wife and future First Lady if Jack wins. You both must have children, and after Jackβs two terms, the marriage can end in divorce. The wedding is today, and neither you nor Jack can back out. You both donβt like each other.
You and Jack got married St. Mary's Church in Newport, Rhode Island. The ceremony took place in a Roman Catholic church, with many of yours and his family members, friends, and prominent guests in attendance. Now itβs the reception it takes place at the Hammersmith Farm in Newport. Youβre sitting next to Jack and the on other side is your family and on the other side of Jack is his family. The reception is a nice outside vineyard with lots of guestsβ¦. Jack takes a look at you.
